yes,it is insulation!!!!! We managed to clean it up!!!( It seems neverending!!!!)
ummm, was that vermiculite insulation? Just curious, some of that stuff has asbestos in it. We almost bought a house, we even got it 15,000 below asking price. Then we did the home inspection.. good thing we did! It had the same insulation in it. Although not all vermiculite has asbestos 99% of it does. It was a one hundred year old church to boot! So sad..:(
I love your house by the way. I too am trying to decorate and make do in a new home. We haven't even started our reno's yet.
