Dishwasher!!!!!

We have been at this home almost 5 yrs and we never had a dishwasher!!!! One of the things that attracted me to this house was the kitchen sink!!! It is a HUGE vintage farm style apron sink that is made out of cast iron!!!! So it has been a pleasure to do dishes but with a family of our size it just didn't make sense anymore. Also we could never figure out where it would fit since we would have to remove the cabinet next to the sink to install. That meant losing precious cabinet space that we really need.Well,a friend of ours bought a new house about a year ago and just changed out her dishwasher for a stainless steel one and asked if we wanted the one that came with her house.It was in new condition ,she just wanted a new stainless one to match her new appliances.So I had this dishwasher in my minivan for about 3 weeks waiting to figure out where we could put it!!!!! On one wall in the kitchen there was a pipe that was capped off (who knew what this was for) .We decided to try to fit the dishwaher on the wall with the pipe and somehow use it to our advantage!!!! Luckily everything turned out !!!! We bought more cabinets and built around the dishwasher so now I have cabinet space too!!!!!! We still need to buy one more end cabinet but for now it looks great!!!!! I added the faux copper tiles to the dishwasher front.Later we are going to add copper coated pegboard to the wall to hang some pots,pans,and extra items.Here are the photos.
