Baby Weston"s First Birthday Party

We had baby Weston"s first birthday party at our house in April. Paloma our daughter came and decorated.The theme was "Cars".Weston loves the cartoon movies and of course loves cars!!!! It was very colorful and festive!!! Once again I was able to use my antique silver punch bowl .This time it was filled with blue raspberry "windshield fluid" punch!!!!! There were alot of treats for the kids and adults.Overall a great party and Weston had a blast!!!! Here are photos of the big day...

Happy New Year!!!!

Hope everyone is well!!!! I am still recouping from the flu!!!!! I am hoping this 2013 will be a great year!!!!On New Years Eve we stayed home and we blessed our house with sage!!!! We wanted to bring in good energy!!!! I have many hopes and dreams for this new year .Many more house projects that we didn't get to last year!!!! Luckily hubby likes my ideas!!!! Xmas 2012

We had a nice xmas for the most part but hubby and I got sick xmas day w/ the flu and have been miserable!!!!! Instead of brunch and a sit down xmas dinner,we had a very lowkey day.I made a turkey and stuffing but barely made any sides to go with.We basically had it buffet style.The kids didn't mind but I was disappointed that I couldn't have the xmas I expected. I just love how these turned out!!!! Hubby and I picked up an old vintage wagon that my dad had brought home years ago when the kids were little.Our family has had it at least 20 years( it is alot older) and love the patina of it all rusted from sitting outside in Chicago weather!!!

Baby Weston had his 6 month baby photo shoot. Paloma hired a local photographer and they had a photo shoot at a pumpkin patch.I have to put more of the photos on my laptop and show them off !!!!! They came out sooooo cute!!!!

Baby Weston

Baby Weston was born on Monday April 9,2012. Hubby and I are official grandparents!!!!!! We were both there with our daughter Paloma and her fiancé Jake all thru the labor.I was even in the room when Weston was born!!!! We have had a busy week getting to know our grandson.He weighed 8 lbs. 11 oz at birth. The boys are excited to be uncles,it is so cute.I have been snapping away taking photos every chance I get.Here are a few of my favorite.
