( Hubby) Trent's Birthday Weekend!!!!

My hubby had his 40th birthday this Friday and we threw him a surprise party! The kids and I planned it and schemed for weeks.It was so stressful but we pulled it off.He had no clue!!!! The kids wanted a Hawaiian theme since we love Hawaii and it is our dream to live there one day.We found very cool decorations at our favorite Dollar Tree store. I was so busy hosting the party that I didn't take to many photos.How does that happen?LOL .I did take some before everyone got here to remember how it looked( before the mess).So here are some photos of our house before the party and a few during.

Sweet sixteen!!!

Today is a special day ,sixteen years ago it was Thanksgiving day and my husband and I welcomed our son Trent into our life!!!!! He has been such a blessing for our family!!!! He is best friends with his brother Julian who is 11 years old.It is so sweet to see them grow up together. It's hard to believe 16 years have gone by. I am looking forward to see his life unfold and be a part of it.Trent is our "optimist".Life is always bright around him!!!!!! Happy Birthday Trent!!!!!

Xmas 2012

We had a nice xmas for the most part but hubby and I got sick xmas day w/ the flu and have been miserable!!!!! Instead of brunch and a sit down xmas dinner,we had a very lowkey day.I made a turkey and stuffing but barely made any sides to go with.We basically had it buffet style.The kids didn't mind but I was disappointed that I couldn't have the xmas I expected. Happy birthday

Today is our son Trent's 15th bday!!! He was actually born on Thanksgiving Day !!!!! he is such a blessing to our family. I am really proud of how he is growing up!!! He has such a tender heart especially for his siblings. My dad (grandpa) always says he has never seen brothers as close as Trent and Julian even though there is a 4 year gap. He also is a caring uncle.Today started out with a breakfast outing including their friend Jacob and then we went to the mall for Trent to pick out his presents. We basically went to Gamestop for a bunch of video games. then it was home for a game-a-thon with Jacob and Julian . We found the most delicious Reeses cake to celebrate and end off the day. In Trent's words it was the best day ever!!!!
