Project list for 2010

 

I am looking back thru the blog and realized we accomplished a lot!!!! Of course there are still projects to do but that is for 2011!!!!! The biggest project we did was opening up the wall from the original dining room into a small bedroom. This was really time consuming and messy!!! We love how it turned out!!!! Another mini project was adding  wood to the floor where the original wall was .That was a first for us!!!!

 

  In the basement we had a see  thru staircase so we added wood to the steps.That helped with the laundry not falling thru!!!!! It"s the little things that make me happy!!!!! We also went to Hawaii!!!!When we returned it was back to business!!!!    We installed our light and new electric in the old dining room(it had been a hole up there for a while.In July we started the painting of our house. Added shutters!!!!(we are not done painting outside)WE made awesome  bunk beds(still working on boys room) I finished painting my lockers.( a two year project!!!!) And the final big project of the year was installing the barn door track and putting up the Victorian french doors that were on the front enclosed porch for two years!!!! This one was really special to me!!!!! Also a first for us ,it was really scary and a little more complicated than we thought. It has been a great year!!!!! We are looking forward to 2011 !!!!! Another day of sanding!!!!

I have been slowly sanding the new dining room/study walls.It is going at a snails pace.I really want to start painting the room by next week and show you what it looks like already!!!!! Well,I am off to tape up the plastic so I don't have the dreaded dust everywhere!!!!
