I am looking back thru the blog and realized we accomplished a lot!!!! Of course there are still projects to do but that is for 2011!!!!! The biggest project we did was opening up the wall from the original dining room into a small bedroom. This was really time consuming and messy!!! We love how it turned out!!!! Another mini project was adding wood to the floor where the original wall was .That was a first for us!!!!
In the basement we had a see thru staircase so we added wood to the steps. That helped with the laundry not falling thru!!!!! It"s the little things that make me happy!!!!! We also went to Hawaii!!!!When we returned it was back to business!!!! We installed our light and new electric in the old dining room(it had been a hole up there for a while. In July we started the painting of our house. Added shutters!!!!(we are not done painting outside)WE made awesome bunk beds(still working on boys room) I finished painting my lockers.( a two year project!!!!) And the final big project of the year was installing the barn door track and putting up the Victorian french doors that were on the front enclosed porch for two years!!!! This one was really special to me!!!!! Also a first for us ,it was really scary and a little more complicated than we thought. It has been a great year!!!!! We are looking forward to 2011 !!!!! I know we will have a greater year next year greater than we could ever have imagined!!!! Happy New year!!!!!!!! I am linked to this party!!!top-projects-2010

Lockers
I am 99% done with painting my lockers!!!! I have one more to go.This project has taken me two years (yeah, hard to believe) I think it took so long because it is a drag to tape off all the details.Anyway, this week it will be complete . I will post photos with the final outcome later this week!!!!

Sneak peek!!!!
I have been looking for lockers to buy for a long time. Tuesday, hubby and I picked up lockers in Illinois that I found on Craig's list!!!!! I should of bought a second set but we really don't have room in our current house(darn!!!) .Originally I envisioned these lockers in the basement .That is where our hangout room will be.But,sadly hubby doesn't think they will fit down the narrow stairway. So,we put them in our living room.I absolutely love them. They will help with clutter. We are painting the doors different colors. Each kid gets to pick the color for their locker. My two youngest wanted to paint theirs so here is a photo of them painting with some help. There is a lot of prep taping involved so I have no idea when I will finish.I have 5 more to go!!!!
